
Julie Blackmon (born 1966, Springfield, Missouri) is a photographer who lives and works in Missouri. Blackmon’s photographs have appeared in Time, The New Yorker, and Oxford American. Homegrown won the National Silver at the Independent Publisher Book Awards. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and can be found in the permanent collections of the George Eastman House, Rochester, NY; the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, MO; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX; and the Photographic Center Northwest, Seattle, WA.
