
Marjan Moghaddam is a pioneering digital artist and animator who works with 3d CG and digital media for animation, NFT, Net Art, print, sculpture, installation, and AR/VR. She is hailed as a “trailblazer in the world of digital art” by the International Herald Tribune. Her recent collection of #arthacks has gone viral with millions of views. Marjan’s AR art has been exhibited widely at galleries and museums, including a Chronometric Sculpture for the Smithsonian Museum commissioned from the Halcyon Arts Foundation. She was featured in the BBC Click documentary Art Goes Digital as well as in Proof of Art: History of Digital and NFT Art at the Francisco Carolinum Museum in Linz, Austria, the first NFT museum exhibition and accompanying book. Marjan is a political refugee and immigrant from Iran. She lives and works in Brooklyn, where she is a tenured professor of Digital Art and XR at the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University.
