Rumi Ando is an artist based in Tokyo. She studied contemporary art at the Department of Inter Media Art, Tokyo University of the Arts. She works as a photo retoucher while leveraging those skills to release original photographic works. Among her accomplishments, she participated in the Tokyo and Shanghai Art Book Fairs, was selected for inclusion in Lurzer's Archive's "200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide," and won a jury prize from The Reference Asia: Photo Prize 2019. In 2021, she held a solo exhibition at the Book and Sons Gallery in Tokyo.
